The Deluxe Tan is hand mixed to give you the ideal color and depth of tan that you want and is suitable for all skin tones. It requires 8-10 hours to develop before you rinse off, sweat, or get wet. The Deluxe Spray Tan is finished off with a beautiful finishing powder that leaves you feeling comfortable and dry and reduces transfer of solution from your skin to your clothes or sheets. This tan generally lasts 7-10 days and fades beautifully.
Rapid Sunless Tan is great for a person on the go. Rapids generally are rinsed between 1-6 hours after application, depending on how dark you want to be. We have a variety of solutions that range from a honey/ caramel tan, a honey, brown tan, or a true brown. The tan is largely developed after 12 hours but takes a full 24 hours to really come into it’s own stunning glory. The tan is finished off with a beautiful finishing powder that leaves you feeling comfortable and dry and reduces transfer of solution from your skin to your clothes. At your appointment we will discuss how dark you want to be and then you will be instructed when to shower. This tan generally lasts 7-10 days and fades beautifully.
We now offer contouring to amp up your tan even more! Contouring can only be done using the Deluxe Tan solution. The process takes your beautiful base tan to the next level by enhancing the muscle tone and definition that you already naturally have. This tan generally lasts 7-10 days and fades beautifully.
Combining microblading and shading gives you the best of both worlds—the natural look of microblading with a little more definition. Microblading is first completed throughout the brow. Shading is a technique to create a more dense, three dimensional look. Shading is performed using a traditional tattoo machine and a sterile single-use needle cartridge that deposits tiny pixels into the skin between the microbladed hairstrokes to create more density. This is a great option for many including those who fill in their brows on a daily basis, those with little to no eyebrow hair, those with very little but dark eyebrow hair to blend their new shape into their natural brow, or those with naturally dense/coarse brow hairs.
Powder brows are great for clients who prefer more definition than what hair strokes provide. It is performed using a traditional tattoo machine that inserts tiny pixels into the skin using a sterile single-use needle cartridge to create a soft “powdery” effect that mimics the look of an eyebrow pencil or powder. The tails of the brow are darker and fade to a lighter softer look toward the beginning of the brow. This is a great technique for clients with naturally full brows to start with but want to skip filling them in. This technique is also great for clients with oily or sensitive skin.

We will not tan a bride without a trial run unless she is a regular client and we know how the tan will take to her skin tone. There are exceptions to the rule but the rule around here is “There may be surprises on your wedding day, but we don’t want to be the source of any of them”
Use an oil free exfoliant like loofah gloves.
Sometimes you just have to rinse off before your tan. We get it! Make sure that you are using warm water and if you must use soap, really rinse off well. Rinsing with cool water will ensure that your pores close which will give you a nice, even tan. Do NOT use Dove soap! It is not tan friendly before or after your tan.
This includes massages, manicures, pedicures, and waxing. If you do any of these things after your tan, you all rub it right off.
A beautiful spray tan generally takes a full 24 hours to perfectly develop. Note to brides: I do require a trial tan in advance of your wedding day tan. We want to make sure that everything is perfect before your big day.
Avoid things like workout clothes, exercise bras, tight jeans, tight shirts, and overly constricting shoes.
If it looks like rain, make sure you wear long sleeves and long pants and pack an umbrella.
We simply cannot tan over a sunburn. If you begin to peel or have scaly skin from a burn it will look positively awful. We promise you won’t like it.
Putting in the time to prepare for your tan will reap great benefits to get a most perfect glow!
Wear loose dark clothing to your appointment and avoid tight jeans, workout where, bras, and if possible, sandals or flip flops (we know that's not always a possibility here in Minnesota just a rule of thumb.)
Depending on the type of tan we choose for you, you will need to stay dry between 2 to 12 hours. This includes showering, swimming, and sweating. You will also want to avoid lotions and any liquid or cream-based makeup until your tan is fully developed.
Moisturizers free of oils will keep your tan looking amazing for a long time. We sell a variety at the studio or would be happy to share some brands with you when we see you. Moisturize from the inside explanation point drink lots of water after your tan.
You will want to stay away from things that causes your natural skin cells to turn over quickly as this increases the rate of fade. This includes hot showers and baths, chlorine in pools and hot tubs, excessive sweating, saunas, and skin products that contain acids.
This is especially important while your tan is developing. If you are going to sleep with your solution on and plan to shower in the morning, make sure that you wear a long sleeve shirt and long pajama pants to bed. Also, avoid crossing your legs and generally just having any body parts touch each other for a long period of time.
Once it is time to shower, make sure to use your hands to really rub away the cosmetic bronzer on your skin. If you see streaks after your shower, that is just the bronzer so you will need to get back in the shower and rub some more.
This not only includes not using loofahs or scrubs in the shower but also be careful when you are drying yourself with a towel. Pat, don't rub yourself dry.
You just got your glow, now what??
